Yes! Viriya scholarship is a program run by Touch a Life Foundation to provide full education scholarships to deserving girl students in India, ages 15-21. The goal is to support young women in reaching their career aspirations, such as becoming IAS officers, doctors, or lawyers. The scholarship is based on the Pali word "Viriya," meaning right effort, and emphasises the importance of acting with good intention and pure heart. The scholarship is funded by donors to the Touch a Life Foundation.

Once the donation, either through a cheque or online, is confirmed by the bank, it is immediately allocated to the designated program. The usage and outcome of the donation are closely monitored, managed, and audited, and the results are reported in the annual impact report, which is shared with the donors.

Donors are eligible for a tax deduction of up to 50% on their donations under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, of 1961. This means that the donor can claim a tax rebate equal to half the amount they donated to Touchalife foundation. The tax benefits serve as an incentive for donors and help increase support for our programs.

All donors are provided with a tax receipt for their contribution. A Digital copy of the receipt will be generated and sent to the donor via email immediately after the donation has been received.
